SAIL Recruitment 2024 Overview

Steel Authority of India Limited jobs: Sundargarh District and other Districts of Odisha State only. Online applications are welcome from eligible and underprivileged candidates residing in Sundargarh District and other Districts within Odisha State. These applications are for the one-year training programs offered at Ispat General Hospital, Rourkela. While all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply, those hailing from specific regions, namely Bisra Block, Kuarmunda Block, Nuagaon Block, Lathikata Block of Sundargarh District, Rourkela Municipality, Rourkela Industrial Township area, Resettlement Colonies of RSP, and model steel villages of RSP in Odisha, will be given preference.

Qualification Requirements

(Valid as of Date of Walk-in-Interview) : i) 10+2 with Science or its equivalent; and
ii) Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized by the Government and registered with the Pharmacy Council under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 with valid registration.

Stipend/ Salary:

Stipend: The stipend shall be payable every month based on actual attendance for the month.
Experience of Trainee in Proficiency Development Training
In 1st Cycle In Rs 17,000/-
2nd Cycle In Rs 18,000/-
3rd Cycle: Rs 20,000/-

SAIL Recruitment 2024, Important Information

1. You’ll need to come for a face-to-face interview with two sets of filled-in and signed forms (Annexure-I), along with the required documents as mentioned. Only 100 people will be interviewed each day, chosen on a first-come, first-served basis. If there are more people, they’ll be interviewed on the following day(s). It’s recommended to be available for the next day(s) for the interview if needed.
2. All your certificates and documents will be checked against the originals. If you can’t show them, you might not be allowed for the interview or to join the training program, and your application might get canceled.
3. Shortlisted candidates will need to go through a medical checkup and get clearance from the Company’s Medical Examination Board before starting.
4. You’ll have to sign a paper worth Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only) promising to work as a Trainee without expecting regular employment in the future solely based on the training provided or stipend paid.
5. The chosen candidates will be trained at Bokaro General Hospital and other health centers as decided by the Management.
6. The ‘Proficiency Training’ will begin right after the selection process ends, and offers as “Proficiency Trainee Lab Technician / Pharmacists” are given. If you’re selected during the interview, be ready to start the training within the given time.
7. After completing the training successfully, you’ll receive a ‘Certificate of Proficiency’ from Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) based on your performance. If you don’t finish the training, the certificate won’t be issued.

Accommodation/ Duration/ Leave/ Daily Working Hours

Accommodation may be provided subject to availability and at the sole discretion of the Management.

Duration: The initial training period will be Twelve (12) Months, which can be extended for a maximum of two terms of one year (twelve months) each.

Daily Working Hours: The normal working hours of the Trainees shall be 8 hours in a day and 48 hours in a week. The Trainees, during the period of training, will also be required to work in shifts, CSR activities, and emergencies.

Leave: The Trainees will be entitled to Seven (07) days of leave, apart from closed holidays, during the tenure of training (i.e. 12 months).

Candidates who meet the aforementioned criteria are required to submit their applications “ONLINE” exclusively through igh.sailrsp.co.in. No other methods of application will be considered. Follow these steps to complete the online form:

• If you’re interested and eligible, you’ll need to come for a face-to-face interview at the designated time.
• You can also send your application early to the email address: [email protected], at least 2 days before the interview date.
• But just emailing your application doesn’t guarantee you a spot for the interview.
• Make sure to regularly check your email and the SAIL website for any updates or additional communication.

General Condition

• You should be an Indian citizen and have the right qualifications from a school or college approved by the government.
• Your certificates proving your qualifications like education, work experience, caste, birthdate, etc., should be valid on the day of the interview. If you have OBC-NCL or EWS certificates, they need to be valid for the financial year 2023-24, issued after April 1, 2023.
• You’ll need to go to the interview on the set date, time, and place at your own expense.
  This engagement is just for ‘Proficiency Training.’ It doesn’t mean you’ll get a job at SAIL.
  The Collieries Division has the final say on who gets into the ‘Proficiency Training Scheme’ based on their rules.
• Trying to influence the selection process at any point will disqualify you.
• If you give false information, don’t meet the eligibility criteria, or pretend to be someone else during the selection process or interview, your application might get rejected or terminated. It could also lead to legal action.
• The Collieries Division can reject or cancel applications or the whole process, or take fewer trainees without giving a reason. They won’t discuss this further or compensate for any issues arising from it.
• Any disputes will be handled in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.”
