Job description: The candidate must have expertise in the analysis of next-generation sequencing data. Candidates with expertise in the programming languages R and/or Python will be preferred. Candidates’ CVs must highlight their programming and database development experience.
Emoluments: The selected applicants will receive consolidated emoluments in accordance with Institute Rules, based on their qualifications and experience. Rs. 35,000/- per month plus 24% HRA or Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 24% HRA for those who do not have a NET qualification. (As per DST OM dated 10.07.2019)
General Terms & Conditions:
- Candidates for the above positions will be on contract for one year or the term of the project, whichever is shorter.
- There will be no hostel or housing available.
- Applicants must clearly state their category, i.e. SC/ST/OBC/PH, and provide documentary proof.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview if called for. - Candidates should include a complete Curriculum Vitae as well as the names of three referees in addition to applications in the format specified below. A curriculum vitae should include information on experimental competence as well as a list of publications.
