About NHM Himachal Pradesh
For the purpose of successfully carrying out the National Health Mission in the State, a separate Mission Directorate (NHM) has been established within the Directorate of Health. It has a Programmer Management Unit (PMU) managed by a Deputy Director/State Programmer Officer and a Financial Management Unit (FMU) led by a Jt. Controller of Finance. The Principal Secretary has control over the Mission Directorate, which collaborates closely with the Directorate of Health (Health).
