Educational Qualifications for NIT Raipur Recruitment:

Essential:

• 10+2 in Science (PCB / PCM) subjects from a recognized Board or University.
• 2 Years Diploma with First class from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of two years experience in any recognized hospital or pharmacy. OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma).
• Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
• Period of Probation, if any: 1 year for direct recruits as per NIT Statutes

Note: After 2 years of experience in the Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-, the incumbent will be granted Non-Functional up-gradation to the next higher Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- and re-designated as Sr. Pharmacist.

Sr. Pharmacist with a GP of Rs.4200/- and 7 years of service, out of which at least 5 years of service in GP of Rs.4200/-, may be considered for promotion to the post of Pharmacist (SG II) with a GP of Rs.4600/-.

General Conditions for NIT Raipur Recruitment:

Candidates must first fill out an ONLINE application on the Recruitment Portal available on the Institute website (nitrr.ac.in) from 19.07.2023. After filling out the online form, submit the hard copy of the prescribed form along with self-attested documents in an envelope duly super-scribed “Application for the post of ________Department Name (if applicable)” to “The Registrar, NIT Raipur, GE Road, Raipur, 492010 (Chhattisgarh)” by 14.08.2023.

Application Fee:

• Candidates applying for multiple posts must submit separate application forms and fees. Ensure eligibility for the desired post before the closing date. Application submitted for a specific post is non-transferable.
• The candidate is responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, documents, and photographs. Providing false information or suppressing facts will result in rejection/cancellation of selection/recruitment.
• The Institute reserves the right to utilize the services of candidates in any department/section at any time.
• A one-time relaxation in the upper age limit up to 56 years is applicable to employees of the Institute who were on ad-hoc/temporary/contractual/outsource basis on 20/02/2019, subject to fulfilling all other conditions mentioned in the Recruitment Rules for the applied post.
• The age limit, qualifications, experience, etc. for all posts will be determined as of 09.08.2023. Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD and Ex-servicemen as per Central Government rules.
• Incomplete applications or those without required certificates/testimonials will be rejected.
• Fulfilling the required qualifications and experience does not guarantee selection for written test(s)/skill test(s) (wherever applicable).
• The Institute may set higher criteria for screening and shortlisting applicants for written test(s)/skill test(s) (wherever applicable).
• The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of advertised posts at the time of selection and may reject applications without assigning any reason.
• Candidates already in service must submit their applications through proper channels, producing the NOC at the time of the Final Selection Test, if shortlisted.
• The selection Procedure will be notified by the Institute/NTA at a later stage.
• Postal delays, conduct, and results of written test(s)/skill test(s) will not be entertained for correspondence/queries from candidates.
• The appointment of selected candidates is subject to medical fitness, examined through a medical examination by the institute’s medical board/senior medical officer/medical officer.
• Applications received without self-attested copies of required documents and certificates are liable to be rejected summarily.
• Updates, corrigendum, or addendum will be published on the institute website (nitrr.ac.in). Candidates must regularly visit the website for recruitment-related updates.
• Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PWD/Ex-Serviceman is as per Central Government Rules.
• Canvassing in any manner will lead to disqualification.
• The Institute’s decision shall be final in case of any dispute/ambiguity in the selection process.
• Any dispute regarding recruitment will fall under the jurisdiction of the District Court, Raipur.
• This recruitment is subject to the outcome of litigation pending in the Hon’ble High Court of Chhattisgarh.
