When it comes to the ECHS Central Organisation, it’s situated in Delhi and operates under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) with AG and DGDC&W in the Army HQ. The Central organization is led by the Managing Director, ECHS, who is a serving Major General. There are 28 Regional Centres for ECHS along with 426 ECHS Polyclinics. ECHS is also affiliated with the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), and the Ministry of Defence (MoD), just like the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) and Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB).
ECHS is inviting applications to engage Medical Staff on a contractual basis in ECHS Polyclinics (PCs) in Udaipur and Dungarpur. The contract can be renewed for an additional period of one year or until the candidate reaches the maximum age, depending on performance and other conditions. There is one vacancy for the post of Pharmacist.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- B.Pharmacy from a recognized Institute OR
- (10+2) with a Science Stream from a Recognized Board.
- Approved Diploma in Pharmacy Recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
- Minimum of three years of work experience.
- Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.
Important Date and Interview:
The last date for receipt of applications, as per the format provided on the echs.gov.in website, is 25th September 2023. Any applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
The interview date, timing, and venue will be communicated via telephone. Candidates must bring all the original certificates, mark sheets, work experience documents, discharge book, PPO, and two passport-size color photographs at the time of the interview. Travel allowances are not applicable. Only candidates meeting the Qualitative Requirements may apply.
