SOP for Entering and Exiting the Production Area

1.0 Objective: This document outlines the procedure for staff entry and exit in the Production area.

2.0 Scope: This procedure applies to both male and female staff entering and exiting the Production area.

3.0 Responsibility: Operators, Officers, and Executives in the Production Department
Officers and Executives in the Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department
Managers in the Production, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance Department

4.0 Procedure:
4.1 Entry Procedure into the Primary Change Room:
4.1.1 Enter the primary change room.
4.1.2 Wash hands using the provided sink and dry them.
4.1.3 Store street shoes in the designated shoe rack.
4.1.4 Keep personal items (wristwatch, wallet, jewelry, bindi, etc.) in individual lockers.
4.1.5 Retrieve clean factory garments (shirt and trousers for males, salwar, kameez, jacket, and scarf for females) from the bench.
4.1.6 Begin by wearing the cap to cover hair completely, then don the factory garments.
4.1.7 Put on factory shoes from the shoe racks.
4.1.8 Ensure proper gowning by checking attire in the mirror.
4.1.9 Disinfect hands using 70% v/v IPA solution before entering the secondary change room.

Note: Staff working on the packing line, both male and female, can proceed directly to the packing hall from the primary change room without entering the secondary change room.

4.2 Entry Procedure into the Manufacturing Area:
4.2.1 Enter the secondary changing room.
4.2.2 Cross the crossover bench.
4.2.3 Put on a boiler suit and snood.
4.2.4 Wear booties over shoes.
4.2.5 Disinfect hands using 70% v/v IPA solution before entering the processing area and packing cubicles.

4.3 Exit Procedure from the Manufacturing Area:
4.3.1 Remove booties, boiler suits, and shoes, placing them in designated areas.
4.3.2 Cross the crossover bench, switch to primary footwear, and exit the secondary change room.

4.4 Exit Procedure from the Primary Change Room:
4.4.1 Re-enter the primary change room.
4.4.2 Remove footwear and primary gown.
4.4.3 Cross the crossover bench.
4.4.4 Change into street clothes and shoes, then exit the primary change room.
