We are currently seeking passionate individuals to join us as Research Associates specializing in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry for the Quality Control Laboratory at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). These roles are on a contractual basis, aiming to engage two individuals—each for the aforementioned positions—at our center in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. AIIA Recruitment 2024— Post, Qualification, Age, and Salary

1. Pharmaceutical Chemist – 1 Post

Age: Age shall not exceed (40) years at the time of the interview

Qualification & Experience :

Essential Qualification:

• M.Sc. (Phytochemistry/Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry) OR M.Pharma (Medicinal chemistry/ phytopharmaceuticals)
• Three years of relevant experience

Desirable:

• Research Experience in any reputed R&D institutions/industries with well-versed in drug standardization, drug dosage form design, quality evaluation, and documentation about Ayurvedic/ herbal formulations.
• Professional knowledge of computer applications (MS Office).
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals (at least in UGC CARE).

Monthly remuneration: Rs.47,000/-+ HRA (for the first year) As per the Ayurgyan Scheme

2. Analytical Chemist – 1 Post

Age: Age shall not exceed (40) years at the time of the interview

Qualification & Experience :

Essential Qualification :

• M.Sc. (Phytochemistry/Chemistry/Organic Chemistry) OR M. Pharma (Medicinal chemistry/ Analytical chemistry/ Quality assurance)
• Three years of relevant experience

Desirable:

• Experience in handling instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, GC-MS, and AAS for the analysis of herbal drugs.
• Professional knowledge of computer applications (MS Office).
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals (at least in UGC CARE)

Monthly remuneration: Rs. 47,000/-+ HRA (for the first year) As per the Ayurgyan Scheme

Note: The date of the interview will be the date for determining the maximum age.

AIIA Recruitment— Conditions/ Instructions

1. The only payment provided will be a fixed remuneration amount; no additional allowances will be given.
2. The appointment will follow AIIA’s working hours and is for full-time positions.
3. Travel or daily allowances will not be provided for attending interviews or joining the institute.
4. The number of available positions might change based on AIIA’s needs and the decision of the Competent Authority.
5. Meeting the minimum qualifications and experience isn’t the sole criteria for candidate selection.
6. Initially, these positions are for one year on a temporary contractual basis or until they are filled regularly or until further notice—whichever comes first. Extension or termination of the contract is at the discretion of the Competent Authority AIIA.
7. Candidates will be engaged temporarily on a contract basis, not guaranteeing future appointments at the Institute.
8. Full-time appointees cannot take up other assignments during their contract period.
9. Candidates should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement before attending the Walk-in-Interview.
10. The Competent Authority reserves the right to amend, cancel, or modify this advertisement wholly or partially without stating reasons.
11. Candidates are entitled to one day of leave per month. Absence exceeding one day will result in a deduction from the remuneration.
12. Appropriate tax deductions as per Government instructions will be applied.
13. Candidates must not use, disclose, or share any data or information collected during this assignment without the organization’s written consent.
14. Individuals engaged must hand over all assignment records to the organization upon contract expiry before receiving the final payment.
15. Candidates must sign a Non-Disclosure Undertaking upon joining.
16. There’s no assurance of regular appointment for candidates engaged on a temporary basis.
17. The selected candidate should join within one week from the offer of engagement.
