Exam Fee:

(a) The fee for the examination is Rs. 100/- (one hundred rupees).

Exemption in examination fee:

For candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste categories in Jharkhand state, the examination fee is Rs. 50/- (fifty rupees). As per letter no. 8559 dated 23.10.2019 from the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language, Jharkhand, Ranchi, candidates with a 40% or more disability from Jharkhand state are eligible for exemption in the examination fee. It’s important to note that if candidates from other categories or local residents of Jharkhand state pay the examination fee at a concessional rate, their application may be canceled, and their candidature could be terminated. Applications submitted without the required examination fee payment will not be accepted and may be subject to cancellation. The examination fee is non-refundable.

(b) Advertisement No. 21/2023 addresses the backlog vacancies for paramedical posts under the Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare Department, Ranchi, specifically for the reserved category, with a total vacancy of 47. Qualified candidates have the opportunity to apply for both Advertisement No. 20/2023 and 21/2023 simultaneously, and this option will be available during the online application process. If a candidate chooses to apply for both advertisements, they will only need to pay a single examination fee. However, if a candidate applies against only one advertisement, they are required to pay the examination fee associated with that specific advertisement. The examination for both advertisements will be conducted simultaneously.

Eligibility:

• Permission to appear in an examination depends entirely on certain conditions. Just having the admit card doesn’t confirm that you meet all the requirements for the advertised post. The Commission has the right to verify your eligibility certificates anytime after the exam. If you miss the scheduled test, fail to submit necessary eligibility certificates, or don’t show up within the specified time, you may lose reservation benefits and your application might get canceled.
• Before applying for the exam, candidates must be certain that they fully understand all the information mentioned in sections 5, 6, and 7 of the brochure. This includes educational and technical qualifications required for the post, age limits, reservation categories, and more.

Age Requirements:

• To apply for the positions mentioned, your age will be determined based on specific dates:
  • For the minimum age calculation, refer to 01.08.2023.
  • For the maximum age calculation, refer to 01.08.2019.

The age limits are as follows:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Maximum age limits are determined by the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language, as per Resolution No. 29 dated 04.01.2021:
  • Unreserved and economically weaker sections: 35 years.
  • Extremely Backward Class (Scheduled-1) and Backward Class (Scheduled-2) [Male]: 37 years.
  • Female [Unreserved, Aa. K.W..A. P. And. (Ans.-1) and P. And. (Article-2)]: 38 years.
  • Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste (Male and Female): 40 years.
