Metal Detector and Vertical Deduster

5.0 Procedure:
5.1 Machine Setting:

  • Ensure the equipment and area are clean. Attach an ‘UNDER PROCESS’ label on the equipment.
  • Record all observations in the Equipment Usage Log Sheet as per SOP on “Equipment Usage Log Sheet“.
  • Adjust the height of the vertical deduster to align its inlet chute below the outlet chute of the compression machine by adjusting the locking knob.
  • Adjust the height of the metal detector using the locking knob.
  • Adjust the position of the metal detector coil to position its inlet chute below the outlet chute of the tablet de-dusting vertical deduster.
